Sarah Heywood was baptised at Clement St Danes in 1780. Does anyone have access to the parish records and able to tell me the parents names please

Hi

Family Search says Thomas and Sarah and at the same church gives a possible sibling Joseph 8th February 1778. The actual register will probably give an address but this early it less likely there will be any other information. Anyone who has access to the actual register will be able to confirm the parents' names but Family Search indexing giving the same names twice for both baptisms indicates the register is probably pretty clear to read, but it is obviously always best to check the actual record itself.

Regards

Valda

Thanks Valda. Father being Thomas fits. If the correct one an Uncle married there 3 to 4 years later which is why it jumped out at me. Her siblings in 1808 were Thomas and Mary, but she had another Uncle Joseph. Either her Father or Brother remarried in 1803 in Plymouth to an Elizabeth Elliot. The 1808 will said Thomas Snrs wife was Elizabeth.

Not sure if this may be of interest, or even relevent.
There is a marriage of Thomas Haywood and Sarah Davis on April 6th 1777 at St Vedast Foster Lane (close to St.Pauls Cathedral)
Also, a Thomas Haywood to Sarah Baskcombe at St.Andrews Holborn (she is of Eltham) September 19th 1775

Thanks ReadyDale and Dawn. The 1775 marriage is starting to get into the correct time zone. Should have thought that Chatters would go hiving off and look for the marriage and hence said that Mary married in 1790 in Plymouth and Sarah in 1799 also Plymouth. The 2 Uncles both married in London. Thomas Jnr other than being Executor to the 1808 and an 1810 will is a mystery. Thomas Snrs brothers were William and Joseph of Greenwich (1742-1810). William and Arabella Rigge (1784) had 10 children. Joseph first to Mary Cox (1786) and then Ellen Smith (1792) looks like none, or none that survived to 1810 I should say. (Joseph and Cornelia Crawley have been eliminated as parents to Thomas, Joseph and William despite having all 3 themselves)
