Where was Cow Crop - Holborn

Hi,

I have found a baptism for 02/06/1785 at St Sepulchre, Holborn, the abode seems to be Cow Crop.

Where was this place, any ideas. Googling did not bring up many results.

It looks like the double ss way of writing where the first s is written as a long s making it look more like an f

There is still a Cow Cross St just to the south of Farringdon Station. Looking at old maps show it as just Cow Cross in the same area but on a slightly different line and length, taking it closer to High Holborn.
