Hello to all,

I am looking for any information on William Cleaver and his family bn 1839 Kenilworth, son Eliza Cleaver, a servant (also bn Kenilworth).

I do believe he married Emma Bates bn 1846 Newton Regis.

They had i believe had 11 children?

Kind Regards

Irene Cooper

He was baptised at Kenilworth 25.8.1839.the record has OAP beside it whatever that means.
In 1841 there is only one Eliza Cleaver that fills the bill.Warwick Place ,Warwick age 22 female servant to an Allen and Ann Sprigg Independent age 74 and 66.
by 1851 she seems to be living back home with her parents in Little Virginia ,Kenilworth.

Abel 14 plough boy
Eliza Simpson daughter 32 charwoman pauper
Mary 7 grandaughter
William Cleaver 10 son (which I would suggest may be your William).
She married at Kenilworth 7.5.1843 Joseph Simpson lab father Samuel lab .she was a servant d of George lab  and made her mark while Joseph signed .wit william and Mary simpson's marks.
George Cleaver also had a son William age 1 with him and his wife in 1841.
George Cleaver 45 comb maker y
Sarah 44 y
Sarah 11 y
Robert 9
James 8
Abel 4
William 1.
George was buried at Kenilworth 1.10.1868 age 74.
In 30.12.1857 Eliza Simpson widow age 40 Spon St d of George Cleaver lab married John Gloster 40 lab Spon st so of Samuel at St John the Baptist Coventry.
They had 2 sons James bapts Kenilworth  22.3.1863 and Samuel bapts 23.10.1859..

Burial for Eliza Gloster age 77 Kenilworth 23.11.1894.
Also a possible other son Thomas Gloster born 1855.
Possible burial Joseph Simpson age 38 Warwick St Mary Monk St 15.7.1847.
He's not the Joseph William Simpson 1852 as he's only 4.
