COMPLETED Looking for Jane Lynn (later Paulson)
« on: Monday 22 October 12 10:53 BST (UK) »
I am stuck on this - can anyone please help?
There were two Jane Lynns - one the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Lynn christened in Balderton 7/11/1824 and one (my one) born to William and Anne Lynn christened at Hough on the Hill in 18/11/1827. In the 1841 census I can only find Joseph and Sarah's Jane. I can't find William and Anne's Jane.
My Jane went on to have an illegitimate child Thomas and then married a Thomas Paulson in 1848 at Swinderby.
Has anyone any ideas please?

I'm not sure if this agrees with what you have said but ...

Marriage, 3 April 1848 at Swinderby
Thomas PAULSON (son of William) to Jane LYNN (dau of William)

from "Newark spreadsheet" here http://mi.lincolnshiremarriages.org.uk/
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Jane Lynn dau of Joseph and Sarah - the whole family are at Balderton in 1841 .  Ref 862  15/5/  5.
Joseph is shown as a farmer aged 60.

Maybe this posting would be better on the Notts board if you need any further help.

NC.

I'm so sorry, I got this the wrong way round. I keep doing that.
It is Jane Lynn the daughter of William and Anne Lynn that I can't find in the 1841 census. Sorry to mess you around.
I will take your advice and put this also on the Notts board as well.

Luckily I had found two Jane Lynns when I posted.  The other one is a servant in 1841 at 862/  27/4  1.
