Thomas Westland Greene

Born 1870, succeeded his father Thomas Greene of Millbrook and Hallahoise, County Kildare, in 1901; in Beaconstown, Kilkea in 1911 census, unmarried. Any ideas how I could find out when he died, whether or not he married, and if not, who inherited from him?

there's a probable marriage for Thomas on the BMD Index - in 1917, in the right sort of area and under his full name - so very likely to be him :

A cert would show details such as his residence, name of the bride, details of their fathers etc..

Not a perfect match, but fits by middle initial and close match to year of birth based on reported age, there's a possible death, in Dublin, that would be worth checking :

Probate/Administration Calendar for 1951 has a listing for your Thomas, that looks to match that death, as follows :

  Thomas W. Green, 4th January (1951), Pro[bate]., Millbrook Mageney, Co. Kildare, Esq. Died 7th May 1950. [Granted] To Arthur Green, Med. Doctor, John N. Green, Fr. & Dermot Mcgillycuddy, Solr. £21,596.
