Henry Niven

I am hoping someone might be able to help me by finding Henry Niven's family on the 1881 census. I have them all on the 1851, 1861, 1871. Henry showed up on the 1881 census Rhynd, Perthshire, he was a Salmon Fisher, he was born about 1831, Abernethy, he married Elizabeth Fotheringham. However I can't find his family on the 1881 census, have looked at all of Scotland and England, is it possible they could have been missed. They then show up on the 1891, 1901 and 1911, Henry by this time was a widower, his 2 Grandsons where living with him John Davidson and James Davidson, born Newburgh. Henry and Elizabeth children names are Robert, Ninian, but spelt Merian on the 1871 census, Elisabeth, Gilbert and Peter and Janet W Niven.
