Our ancestor George Jezard as stated on his daughter's Violet Alice Louise Jezard baptism in 1896 Kensington was a P&O steward.
What would life have been like for George's wife, May Jezard and daughter Violet Jezard with George being a P&O steward. Violet was living at the boarding school Westcliff College For Girls in the 1901 census in Prittlewell, Southend. I wonder if Violet was sent to a boarding school by the sea to be closer to her parents when they returned home from sea?
