Help required re Sidney Crook and Family, Rushford

[Paul Crook]

My grandfather was George Crook. He lived in Rushford, near Thetford, Norfolk and had three brothers, John, Arthur and Sidney. I know that George and John joined the army during WW1 and that, whilst he enlisted in late 1914, Arthur was declared unfit for military service in Nov 1914. However, I don't know anything definite about Sidney. I have found a medal card for a Sidney Crook (No.12125 7th Norfolk Bn) but can't prove he is the same Sidney. I have tried to locate the Absent Voters List for 1918/19 for Thetford but can't find anyone who knows where it is held. I am therefore keen to find someone who knew the family when they lived in Rushford (parents were John and Annie) or to find anyone who knows if Sidney joined up or indeed if anyone has access to the Absent Voters List and can locate Sidney on it.
Can anyone help?

Hi Kinsey that voyage looks good, as on the departure from Southampton on the 30th July 1926 were a Florence aged 31 and a Norman aged 4 ( Norman B Crook Sept qtr Hatfield 3a 1467 Mothers maiden name Adams) Sidney's occ Gardener and address 121, Thetford Road, Prenton? Suffolk

Thank you both for your replies. I am sure this is 'my' Sidney. I knew he had gone to the States but was not aware of when or on what ship. I knew Norman existed but know little else about him. Does anyone know how I might perhaps be able to find out if he is still alive and if he has any family? I might be able to find out more about Sidney through them.
