George Young - Coventry-Census look up

Would someone kindly check the complete 1881, 1891, 1901 census records for George Young

Born 1828 approx in York.  He is in Alma Street Coventry in 1881 working as a boot and shoe maker.

Thank you for that information.

I have a family note stating that my great grandmother Harriet Young born approx 1848 had a father called George Young who was a shoemaker. No mention of mother's name.

In 1841 George Young is living in Tadcaster aged 13 with his parents William and Hannah.

In 1851 he has left home but there is a grandchild aged 2 called Harriet living with William and Hannah but no George.

I'm wondering if Harriet is living with her father's family and he has gone to Coventry and has settled down there and had a family.

I think he and Betsy are in Coventry in 1861 and 1871 but not sure where he is in 1851.

Hi, thanks for your help but I think I may be on the wrong track.

On her marriage cert Harriet Young lists her father as George Young, shoemaker, deceased and this is in 1883.  Either I have the wrong man or she is lying about her father.

It could be that she is illegitimate and was living with her father's family whilst he was in Coventry with his new family.

Unfortunately I cannot find her birth either. She is listed as 35 in 1883 which gives a date of birth around 1848.  The 1911 census lists her place of birth as Bilton, Yorks but I cannot find her.

Hi again, as Tadcaster is the registration district for Bilton, then this looks to be her birth:-

In 1861 living with Hannah aged 76 are these grandchildren:-

In 1851 their was also an Edward b 1842, so just who were the parents of these other children?
