Swaffham Bulbeck Parish Records
« on: Thursday 15 November 12 14:28 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I'm wondering (hoping), whether anyone has access to Swaffham Bulbeck parish records.
In particular Iam looking to find:

Birth/baptism:
George Wilson born around 1809
William Wilson born around 1837 - son of George Wilson & Mary Pamenter

Marriage:
George Wilson & Mary Pamenter married around 1830

Any help would be most appreiciated!

Sue

Hi,

Just a minor alteration to query - I've just realised that George (1809) was born actaully born in Landbeach - would parish records for here be available?

February 26th 1837 William Wilson born to George and Mary Anne-George was a shoemaker.
August 30th 1829 George Wilson bac. of Milton married Mary Anne Parmenter sp.OTP witnesses Matthew Clarke and William Stevens.
I have a copy of the records for Swaffham Bulbeck if you need any more information on the Wilson's/Parmenter's.
regards.

I can tell you from Index that a George Wilson was baptised at Landbeach in 1809, unfortunately I don't have full details, perhaps someone else has.

Landbeach plus Waterbeach Parish Records are available on a CD from Cambridgeshire F.H.S. price £14.

However it is very useful to use the Super Search on their web site to see if a likely ancestor appears on one of their CD's before you purchase, although with a name like Wilson it is probably difficult to distinguish which is yours!

The 1809 baptism for Landbeach has the parents as John and Rose Wilson.
Landbeach is only 2 or 3 miles from the Swaffhams.
