Hopwood in Norfolk 1700/1800s

Hi,
Does anyone know of any Hopwood family born around 1745 in Norfolk. Specifically John who died in Caister in 1814.
The name Hopwood changed to Hubbard in the 1880s and then back to Hopwood. I can't find the reason for it, A very complicated family.

Parentts    John and Elizabeth
1771 John Mason
1773 Sarah
1777 James
Elizabeth wife of John died 1801 age 65

I'll go through the records. Although my children of John were born in Caister it could be the same family line.

Did your John marry Elizabeth High (Widow)  24.02.1800?
He was a widower

Hi Alwina,

I believe it was him. He had 7 children with his 1st Wife Mary who died in 1799 in Caister, so the date fits.
I searched through the E Dereham records and cannot find any other births for a Hopwood except the family that you gave me. I checked the marriages and there is only one....for John and Elizabeth Mason in 1763.
Where is this family!!!!! There seems to be no sign.
