Patrick Carr, where did he go?

I have hit a brick wall tracing Patrick Carr.
Christopher Carr of Avondale, Thomastown, Co Dublin married Eliz McGuinness at Ballybrack R.C Church on 4 Feb 1872. They had a son James 1872-1874 and Patrick born 4 March 1875 at Thomastown. Elizabeth died in 1876.
In 1901 census Patrick is living at Patrick St DunLaoghaire with wife Teresa, married 18 Sept 1893. In 1911 census they are at 7 Pembroke Row, Dublin.
I feel Patrick was left with the McGuinness family in 1876. His father appears to have married again to Susan Farrell about 1878 (cant find where, maybe Liverpool as he was from there) they had seven further children whose details I know. I cannot find death of Patrick or Teresa. I don't think they had any children.

A year later and i have got no further with Patrick Carr. I also cannot find a marriage for his father Christopher Carr to his second wife Susan Farrell. This must have taken place about 1878. My grandmother Mary Ellen Carr their first child was born in 1879 and i have traced all their other childrens births and deaths. In the 1911 census Christopher lists his place of birth as Liverpool and I  have a lead on his family through the Rootschat Lancashire site. Various members there gave me census leads and i am taking it that I have found his family in Liverpool.
I want to find out more about the Farrells. I don't know if they were from Ireland or Liverpool. Could be they never married and Susan just took Carr surname.They were R.C and I have tried all the church records in the Dun Laoghaire, Ballybrack, Glasthule area. They lived in Avondale which is present day Sallynoggin. Am i missing something obvious??

This looks like the birth in 1879 to Christopher and Susan in Dublin

If these names match your information to date then this could be Christopher on the 1901 census and in 1911

Online records for deaths only go up to 1958 so it"s possible they were still alive after that.

Also Carr is not a rare surname so you would have a lot of records to go through.

although ourgang stated 1893 at the beginning

Have you ordered this death cert as a possiblity for Patrick - death in 1913 aged 35

Then this marriage in 1918 could be Teresa remarrying
