Hi It's the ferret again!!
I'm chasing anything on the Smart family from around London /Lambeth.
My search is centred on Emily Clara Smart, I have some old photos to share if they suit anyone

Hi Rosie, thank you for replying, I spose really I'm a a bit hopeful someone else may be researching the same family and be able to share photos and info.
I am an Aussie, so any photos would most likely stay in England.
I am not asking for someone to search and do the hard yards for me, but if you don't put it out there, you never know sometimes.

Thanks Warncoort, I am very new to this great site, I did find the surname board and saw the Smarts, lots of them, but couldn't seem to open anything lol, probably too much sun and flies lol.

Looks like they were in Camberwell (three baptisms at once suggested they just moved to the area and wanted to claim settlement (and so maybe poor relief) before that they were in Marylebone. The birth dates are given also-the gap also supports the idea they were incomers. The middle name Davison may suggest mother maiden name. Cordwainer is Samuels occupation on Thomas's marriage cert, -and the occupation of shoemaker on the childrens birth certs fit with this. I haven't posted the details as you indicate you want to search yourself
