Hi there
My name is Jacqui Matthews and  I lived in Dallington Lodge, Northampton as a child.
One of the staff I remember is Kathleen Gaunt
It would be really nice to hear from anyone who lived there. I am 54 now and was there about age 9 for awhile.

Hi jacquifit.

Welcome to Rootschat. 

I was at the same place although a few years before yourself.

I went to Aunt Kathleen's funeral a few years ago also with quite
a few of us who were there at the same time.

I do have quite a few photographs of the children but most
have no names on the back to say who they are. 

We are not able to put living people's names on the forum so if
you answer here, then you will be able to to P.M. me if you wish.

I may have been at Dallington earlier than I originally thought. I originally was placed in Dr Barnardos in Woodford Bridge, I also spent time in Dr Barnardos ,The Village Barkingside. I am happy to be emailed. :
