Emmerson - Stanley/Consett

Henry Emmerson married Ruth Brodick in 1933.  Ruth died in 1937 aged 44.  Henry died in 1939 aged 52. They had no children. Ruth and Henry buried in Blackhill Cemetery - Section 5/101.
Would like to find out more about Henry and the Emmersons after 1939. Thanks.

Henry Emmerson had a half brother Robert W Thompson born 1896 in Leadgate.  Robert's mother was Bella Thompson nee Emmerson. (Robert had links at one time with South Yorkshire.)
I am hoping someone descended from the Emmerson family of Stanley knows of Robert Thompson - did he marry - are there any living descendants?  Thanks.
