de Percy Variants
« on: Friday 30 November 12 09:59 GMT (UK) »
Hello All,

Can anyone tell me how common the following de Percy spelling variant was during the 13th Century, please:

                                                                  de Piercy

I'm particularly interested in how it was spelt in actual docs. Transcribers have a tendency to alter the original spelling on occasion!

Many thanks,

Bob
