Hi, I have a medal presented to one of my uncles by the Lancashire and Cheshire Miners Welfare Committee and wondered where I might look to discover any more info, any hints would be appreciated.

There is also this website . They are based in Lancashire and hold a lot of Lancashire records , might be worth emailing them too .
