can anybody help me find these information ?

 Isabella Bates nee Amison   born Glasgow abt 1855

...and see if there is a John Bates living with her !?!!
or the head of household and location ?!!

she possibly died in New Jersey, abt 1909

as you may already know, you can do a search of the 1900 USA Census on
www.ancestry.com

You won't have access to the whole of the data, but it will give you an idea of whether the person you are looking for is mentioned or not. If it seems interesting info, then you could choose to subscribe to the 14-days free trial they offer...

I finally made contact with relative of Isabella (I think)
they are checking the info on there side.

maybe I'll find out who's John we are taking about and continue
research on the right track !

Hi Rob I had a look on USA 1900 census could not find any Isabella Bates. Will go back and check if there is a John Bates. I found Isabella Amison on 1871 Census  Staffordshire.Born Glasgow and Isabella Bates 1891 Staffordshire with John and his father William age 70.
Do you have these records.

I found this which could be your John Bates, only his wife is Elizabeth not Isabella

1900 census USA West Orange,Essex,New Jersey.

John Bates 43 Tailor Born England Nov 1856
Elizabeth Bates Wife 43 Born England June 1856
John Bates son 22 Machinist Born Jan 1878
William Bates son 20 Machinist Born May 1880
Jennie Bates daughter 17 Born oct 1882 New York
George Bates son 14 Born Jan 1886 New York
James Bates son 11 Born Jan 1888 New Jersey
Elizabeth Bates daughter 9 Born Jan 1890 New Jersey

Yes, I do have these record and I'm much oblige to you Victoria !

After being in contact recently with one of Isabella's relative
it appear to be a wrong track in my research.

it is not the right John Bates !!!
