Can you help me find the birthplace of one John Probyn bn 1768, he married in Bristol in 1791 and in abt 1793 moved to Southwark in Surrey where he was a brewer. He returned to Bristol in abt 1841 and died there in 1844 when he was working as a "commision agent"  he does not appear in any census.  I have found brewing Probyns in Tenbury Worc; one of which also moved to the Southwark area in the 1820's and set up a considerable family business as a licence victuller. but I have not been able to tie my John into that family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lesley Lee.

There`s only 2 on familysearch from 1762 - 1782 ...one of these may Johns baptism record ?

James PROBIN christened 29th June 1767 St Botolph ,Bishopsgate, London - Thomas Probin /Elizabeth

if he married in Bristol in 1791 - do you have any childrens names - usually a pointer ... was the first born named

Elizabeth ....may point towards John Probyns parents ...if you are sure he was born 1767 - that sways toward Thomas and Elizabeth ...
