David Elwell 1870/4

John Elwell marries Hannah Unice Wilkes 1862 Sedgley . I have census info on  Elwell family  (brickmakers , possibly travelling sometimes) .
John and Hannah have a son David Elwell born abt 1870.
In 1891  David  is in Denbighshire , Wales , coal miner with Thomas Moss and family (coal miners) .
In 1881 he is with his father , *edit John  (wdw brickmaker )  in Dudley Union Workhouse  .
In 1871 i think  it is him in Sedgley area  with (head of household ) Ephraim Harrison  1821  . Wife Mary (Nancy) 1820.  Ellen Elwell 1848 dau . Samuel Elwell 1860 son Joseph Elwell 1867 son . David Elwell 1870 son . All born Sedgley . 
Is this the same David Elwell ? Thankyou

The reason i want to find out about  David is that he is with my family (Moss/Smith/Davies) on the 1891 census in Wales but that i also have Elwell and Wilkes family inlaws near his family in Sedgley  but on a different branch and i wondered if they were related .

I have not seen his marriage cert , if he married , but there are two marriages for a David Elwell

Minnie Jackson or Roseannah Smith (edit , think this David marries Minnie but goes under the name "Daniel" in 1911 , b 1883)

I cannot find an age  that fits on  1911 census index

David was baptised David John Elwell 8th Jan 1873 Sedgley s/o John and Hannah Elwell
Possible for his Death oct/nov/dec 1914 Dudley Worcs

hiya I also have a Elwell family living in Sedgley around the same time. I have quite a few linking bk to 1750's all in that area. Davids, Daniels, Josephs but not for the dates given. I don't know if they are connected but there may be a tentative connection. Also, have you tried Black Country Connections M x

Hi there M . Thankyou for site suggestion , will look into that  . David Elwell is with Harrison family (but his parents not there)  as a baby on census  but i can't work out why he is listed as son of Ephriam Harrison when he is actually son of John Elwell . Also i am trying to find out if David is related to a Rebecca Elwell b abt 1825 from another branch of my family  but earlier. Rebecca Elwell (d/o Samuel) marries Theophilus Brueton/Bruerton 1841 Birmingham  . Happy New Year

Not sure if any of this will help with the answer to David Elwell with the Harrisons - thought maybe Epherman had married a second time as his wife is named Nancy 1851/61 children surname HARRISON  & wife named Mary 1871 children surname ELWELL
