Hello, welcome to Rootschat

This looks as if it could be his birth although it is 1902 not 1903.

Ernest William Didlick
Apr-May-Jun 1902
Ludlow   Shropshire
Volume:   6a
Page:   585

The certificate would give his parents' names.

If you have access to the 1911 census you should be able to find him and his family. We are not allowed to give details from that census on here.

An online tree gives his parents as Arthur Didlick and  Alice Warwood

If that is the right family you can use FreeBMD  http://www.freebmd.org.uk  to help you find other siblings. After 1911 the mother's maiden name is given as well.

I can see 9 children from 1914 to 1937 with the name Didlick and mother's maiden name Warwood,  all born Ludlow registration district.

Interesting though, the only marriage I can see between a Didlick and Warwood is in 1931 in Kidderminster Arthur J Didlick to Alice Warwood.

Found another marriage

Arthur Didlick
Alice Worwood
March quarter 1901
Ludlow
6a 831

The best way to start is to get your grandad's birth certificate as that would give his parents' names. That way you can be sure you have the right family.

There is only one born about that time any where in the country
