Brethren - Lisagore, Co. Monaghan

I am interested in two HAMILTON families who had farms beside each other in Lisagore townland, Co. Monaghan. (Parish of Donaghmoyne). This is them in 1901:

One family was Presbyterian and attended Broomfield Presbyterian Church. The other was “Christian Brethren”. I suspect they too were Presbyterian at one time before becoming Brethren, but there’s no sign of them in Broomfield Presbyterian church records (which go back to 1841). Anyone got any ideas where they would have attended church? Also do Christian Brethren practice infant baptism?

Also interested in these families. Samuel Robert Hamilton, eldest son of Scott and Sarah Hamilton, was a grocer in Main Street, Boyle, Roscommon in 1901. He also was brethren. In 1902 he married Annie Jane Taylor, the sister of James Taylor. James Taylor was a linen merchant, born in Coolaney, Sligo, he moved to New York in 1898. In 1905 he became the world wide leader of the Exclusive Brethren, later called Taylorites after him. Samuel and Annie Hamilton and their descendants were also part of this group. Exclusive brethren, unlike open brethren do practise infant baptism.

My grandfather was Walter Charles Hamilton and he emigrated to British Columbia, specifically to the west coast of Vancouver island in 1912. He met my grandmother Mabel Hall on the boat coming over. she was 12 years old and he waited until she was 24 and then they were married. Walter was known to all as Mike and he was a lineman who was part of the crew who put the telegraph line up the west coast of Vancouver Island. Mike and Mabel had 4 daughters. My mother Joan was one of them. My grandfather had family who also emigrated to BC, Charlotte, known as Minnie, Harry, known as Harry and Alexander, known as Addie. Harry was a butcher and Addie was a farmer.  My grandfather grew up on a farm in Lisagore, County Monaghan. His father was Scott and his mother was Sarah.  I have attached a link to an article written about our Hamilton Family as they were influential on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Mike was eventually the Mayor of Port Alberni, also a town on Vancouver Island. My original query about this family, in 2012, was because I was helping someone research them. Unfortunately I no longer have a record of who that was. I do still have some research notes so if there are any specific queries that anyone wants answered, I can check to see if I have the information.
