My great grandfather Edward SANDERS lived on Jersey and appears on the 1841 at Great Union Rd and 1851 living at 58 Pier St St Helier I have not confirmed his death at this stage.
His occupation is Portrait Artist.
Would there be any records of artists or their paintings that I could search.??
His son William Coombe SANDERS was also an artist and lived in Marylebone in1871 and St Peters Port Guernsey in 1881.
Obviously they were talented as Edward and William were listed as artists for several years and must have earnt a living from their art.
Any suggestion would be gratefully received.
