Shortt-Mounsteven, married about 1800
« on: Monday 10 December 12 20:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi - my GGG grandfather, Jonathan Shortt, married Jane Mounsteven about 1800.
He died in 1817 or 1818, and Jane was born in 1776, and died 15th May 1879.
His son, William Henry Shortt, married Emily Farquharson about 1850.
He also married Jane MacAndrew in 1840 (one daughter, Catharine).
Any info about Jonathan and Jane Shortt most welcome, thanks.

Jane Shortt died in 1859 (not 1879) and born England c.1776.

The events re. son William Henry Shortt all took place in Inverness and he died there in 1861 - the census shows he himself was bc.1809 Ireland.
