Newspaper Archive

I had been planning to subscribe to the British Newspaper Archive in the new year but now see that Findmypast also has a newspaper archive.  I`m not sure if they are taking their information from the British Newspaper Archive  and now can`t decide which would be the best to subscribe to.

I`d really appreciate some advice!

FindMyPast's is the same archive, from the British Library's collection at Collingdale. Both sites are run by  'brightsolid'

Jane it might be an idea to check whether your Library has a subscription
to the B.N.A., ours does.

Jane - if you haven't already I suggest you check the coverage for the areas you're interested in, as some areas have a lot more than others. Some events made the papers across the country but many did not.
