after any info on isabella johanna turpie, daughter of rodger turpie & catherine maxwell, arrived in australia 1886 (26yo) aboard the steamship Parthia, on board was elizabeth maxwell (18yo) no other maxwells listed, both from scotland, related?  isabella was one of 10 children and seems to be the only one to have immigrated, must be plenty of relatives still around the fife district, thanks. :)

1881

thanks for the replies, i know she was 1 of 10 children and have traced back to her g grandparents ebenezer turpie, just after any information relatives would have about her life before departing for australia, as she was the only one to immigrate at the age of 26, , also elizabeth maxwell was on the ship and came from the same area, have no information whether she was a relative or what happened to her, isabella's mother was a maxwell, elizabeth maxwell was only 18 yo at the time, cheers.
