HENRY STEPHEN SHARP
« on: Friday 14 December 12 18:43 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find the parents of Henry Stephen SHARP registered Dec 1845 at Maidstone, Kent.

He emigrated to the Cape, South Africa before 1876.  I am unable to find his death notice in South Africa which should give his parents.

Thanks

Hi

Unless any local transcriptions exist - you may need to buy a copy of his birth cert to get his parents names

Hi

These are all the areas covered by the Maidstone Registration District

http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/maidstone.html

The 1851 has only 2 entries for a Henry Sharp** b Kent 1845-1847.  One b Frittenden and the other in Boughton Aluph neither area covered by the Maidstone RD

No entries for a Stephen/Steven

1861 - Henry b Folkestone serving aboard a vessel

If he was illegitimate - his mother may have married between 1845-1851 and he may be shown under her married name
