parents of John Ede COMPLETED WITH THANKS

I was wondering if someone could help me find the names of John Ede's parents.He was born about 1837,possibly in Cuckfield, Sussex.His wife's name was sally/sarah keeble and they had a son called Albert Ernest Ede. They made there way to New Zealand but soon moved on to Australia following Johns death.

Hi all,

Just revisiting this thread and noticed that two different sets of potential parents exist for John Ede. Omega 1 notes in Reply #1 that John Ede’s parents might be John Ede and Hannah Pattenden of Cuckfield, Sussex, while KGarrad points out in Reply #2 that a John Ede is listed within the 1851 Census as the eldest son of John and Ann Ede, also living in Cuckfield, Sussex.

Is there any info that might clear things up?
