My great grandfather Mark Thompson was born in Wharram Percy.  His parents were william and elizabeth.  His sister Mary was also born in W. P too.  Mark was born in or around 1851 and his sister a year later.  Can someone look in the Wharram Percy parish records for a christening?  Thanks Ann K

Hi Ann

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Other than finding Mark Thompson on 1851 census I haven't found out any more.  His father is sometimes a John  or William and I thought maybe the parish records for Wharram Percy would reveal his name.  The family were living at 39 Rail Cottage Wharram Percy. thanks  annk
