Hulatts buried in Milton Ernest
« on: Sunday 23 December 12 13:49 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone kindly confirm whether Mary and Samuel Hulatt were buried in Milton Ernest in the 1860s.

For Mary it would likely have been in February 1867 and for Samuel his death was registered in Q4 1868 or Q4 1869.

THanks for any help,

As per Milton Ernest PR burials, there is a Mary Hulatt buried 16 Feb 1867, died 13 Feb, age 76.

However Samuel Hulatt is not buried there between 1867 & 1870

Found a Louisa Hulatt of Bedford buried at Milton Ernest 7 July 1865, died 4 July, age 33

Regards John

This Samuel Hulatt was at 79 Well Street Bedford on 1861 census born 1792 Radwell, widower, with daughters Sarah & Elizabeth (widow French) & son Thomas. He was also in Well Street in 1851 as widower. So assume that your Samuel was married to Mary and both are living in Milton Ernest in 1861. He was born 1785 Bromham & ties in with the age of the Samuel who died in Dec qtr 1869.

Dear Dave and John,

Thanks for the pointers with Samuel Hulatt - the Well Street clue makes the case so I absolutely concur with the conclusion that the 1869 death makes sense for the Samuel I'm after, which I'll now follow up. THanks a million.

Richard
