Uniform and regiment identification needed.
« on: Thursday 27 December 12 19:46 GMT (UK) »
This is my Grans brother, William James Taylor, born 1884 in Bromley, London.
We are trying to find out what regiment he was in, as well as his army papers, it's possible he died during the war.
Any help will be gratefully recieved !
thanks

Looks like William was serving in the Middlesex Regiment when this image was taken.

Just be aware only 30% of records survive so they may have been burned in Blitz of WW2
