I'm am researching my family history in Australia but have come to a dead end at the family that made the move from England. What I know from other trees / sites is they were Charles William Chandler b Oct 13 1804 (poss Gloustershire), his wife Elizabeth Haberfield/Habberfield or Holmes b 1806 and their 4 children Elizabeth 1826, William 1831, Sarah 1834, & Harriet 1835. They travelled to South Australia aboard the John Pirie in 1836 and were living in East Acton at this time. His wife Elizabeth died at sea on this journey.

Hi Arien

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

If you haven't already, might I suggest you taker a few moments to read these

I notice you have made a duplicate post here

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,629160.0.html

Alerting the chatters here to other posts prevents duplication of effort.

It would help if could tell us exactly what you know for sure (if anything) and specify exactly what you are hoping to find? baptisms? marriages? burials?
