Brenny-Price Lunatic Asylum (Cheshire? Wales?)
« on: Saturday 29 December 12 14:35 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone know where this was?

It appears in a newspaper report regarding an ancestor that was admitted there in the 1820s.  The only internet search that I can find brings up the Newspaper article of a murder he later committed in the 1850s.

The reference is from a Police interview he gave but  I can't find anything about where the Asylum was.

Thanks
Ruth  :)

It could have been a Licensed house, and not a County Asylum. These were usually privately owned asylums or madhouses. http://www.studymore.org.uk/mhhglo.htm#Asylums
