looking on geneology of my family and info

I know the both grandparents maiden names all I need is help, and trying to find out if we are Irish, and what other countries we are from.
I am trying to fill out the family tree, and if anybody out there is willing to help

grandpa Catarino Gomez Lima

To go with the two names, do you have any other information, such as birth, death or marriage dates, and places where these things happened? 

Whereabouts in the world are you, yourself - that will help us to suggest relevant places to look.
