St Albans CRADDOCK
« on: Tuesday 08 January 13 00:02 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I'm trying to find out more information about a Frederick Henry Craddock.

We know from his daughters Birth Certificate he was living in Cambridge Street, St Albans in 1926 and he was working as a Hosue Painter Journeyman

He married his Wife Blanche ELBORN the previous year in St Pancras, London

Blanche's family are all from around St Albans, so i'm assuming his family are from this area in London.

Death records show him as being born Approx 1896

Any info on Frederick would be greatly recieved.

Thanks Ian

Hi Ian, I cannot locate a birth for a Frederick Henry Craddock b c 1896, it may need the marriage certificate to at least give an indication of his age at marriage and the name and occupation of his father?

By the way welcome to Rootschat!

Hello and welcome to Rootschat,

Do you know when/where Frederick died,if it was after 1969 his exact date and place of birth should be given.

That would depend on who registered his death of course!

So he married BLanche in St Pancras in Dec 1/4 of 1925, and his daughter married in St Albans in 1926? So presumably he'd been married before? What can you tell us about his daughter, name and age for example. :D

His death? Bearing in mind his wife had already died,so maybe they didn't know his exact age.

Frederick H Craddock died aged 64 in Jun 1/4 of 1960 in St Albans

Hi

His G-dau + 2xGG-Dau  [from his eldest] seem to be around.
His                   GG-dau [from his youngest] also.

Do they have no info?
eg marriage/birth/death certs? You never know what people have.

If you need to buy his marriage cert as suggested by Keyboard earlier,(probably what you'll have to do unless anyone already has it?) this is the info you'll need.

Marriages Dec 1925

Craddock    Frederick H    to Elborn    Pancras    1b   219

Elborn    Blanche to    Craddock    Pancras    1b   219

Use http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ it will cost you just £9-25 and they post anywhere in the world for that price.
