James H Frawley

I am wishing to know more about a James H Frawley whose birthyear is given as 1912 when he enlisted for World War 2 in the State of New Jersey in 1942.I have three  Higgins relatives born in Warrington Lancashire who upon sailing on the Holbrook in 1947 from Southampton were given as his dependants.

Many thanks to Sandra and Shaun J for your replies.It looks a lot clearer straight away for the mother of the Higgins children was my relative Minnie Stephens born in Warrington in 1904.

Minnie Higgins married  James Frawley in Warrington on 7 July 1945. She traveled to the US by air on 29 November 1946

For the benefit of aircraft buffs, Minnie flew from London to New York on N90912 which was a DC-4 (C54A) Skymaster of American Overseas Airlines.

Its rather interesting that Minnie(Stephens) Frawley is given as dying in the US Consulate in London in 1984.

Minnie Frawley (aged 49 years) also travelled on the Queen Mary from Southampton to New York arriving 3 rd February 1954. Last address in the UK was 48 Bewsey Street. Warrington. Coun try of last permanent residence:- England.
