Rosalind Teresa Booth Llewellyn born 1906 died 1983

Hiya,
Seeking information her parents at present unknown.
Rosalind Teresa Booth Llewellyn born 28/10/1906 Abergavenny died 1983 Beaconshire.
Married my grandfather son Stanley Williams and lived in Ely, Cardiff.
Till they left for Batavia  in 1926 and Stanley worked goldmines in Sumatra until 1930, when they returned with two daughters.
Oral history in the family says that Rosalind was adopted or was a foster child and Cardiff Docks area is mentioned some talk also she was of blue blood....
She was living with Ivor Williams family at one stage (Father Benjamin, my grandfather Brother of Stanley)
Any help would be most welcome.

have you acquired the marriage certificate for that  ?     the marriage certificate should have details on it......

What was her father's name on the marriage certificate?

My issue is if the birth certificate is blank no one is listed. I have come across this before where no father is listed and the whole section is blank. This is where i am at....

There are going to be only a few places where Rosalind's parents are mentioned:

1. 1911 census - which we can't tell you about.
2. Her birth certificate - at a minimum, her mother will be mentioned.
3. her marriage certificate.
4. The parish register entry of her christening.

If her mother wanted the father to remain a secret, then there's not a lot you can do?!

I would suggest buying the birth certificate?

I might be totally off base here   but can I suggest something please?  >

I just had a look in the free bmd uk   at deaths in Abergavenny

 Annie  Llewellyn aged  41 ( Mar 1913  11a70)......

Previous to that there are numerous infant deaths going back to about 1890(abt)
and the other deaths for Llewellyn are in region of 60's to 80's in age.

So just as a wild card to determine the parents   maybe the life of Annie be looked at
as being the possible mother of Rosalind.....  I am aware it would be tricky considering  a 1911 census would have to be found to establish proof........

but its just an idea

The 1911 census has 69 people living in Abergavenny, name of Llewellyn!
And 601 in Monmouthshire!!
