John and Bridget Glespin, Spring Street, New York
« on: Sunday 13 January 13 22:46 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can help me trace the descendants of John and Bridget (nee Cormack) Glespin.

They were from Kilkenny,  Co. Kilkenny,Ireland and emigrated to New York around 1874. They had a large family born in Ireland and New York.  John, on the passenger list of 'Cedric' when he travelled back to Ireland, briefly, described himself as a leather merchant and the address was 297 Spring Street, New York.
The children, I believe were:
Mary, Annie, Kate, Bridget (Irish)
George Edward, William, Charles M, (American)
Also, living with them was Bridget's sister Catherine Cormack.

Thank you
