Rosses in londonderry
« on: Monday 21 January 13 15:19 GMT (UK) »
Hi there, I started off two years ago researching my Ross family history and became so interested I have decided to put all my research into a book. The book will involve Ross families from ulster, Scotland, Australia, USA and Canada. I have researched my rosses pretty much as I can and I am now researching others. I am currently going through the 1901/11 censuses, and putting together spreadsheets linking the rosses up through the 1830 census of Derry, the griffiths valuation and the 1870s landowner lists.

I am researching the main families I find and retrieving records where possible to eventually go into a Ross family history book.

If anyone has any Ross connections from ulster/Scotland, and wish to provide me with any facts, dates, locations etc it would be greatly appreciated. Simply pm me. I would love to hear from anyone with any Ross connections.

I will also be posting this topic in the other locations too.

Many thanks to anyone who feels they can be of assistance.

There is a book called "The Great Clan Ross", you might be lucky and find it online?
