Can anyone help me please i am looking for the parents of Robert Chipchase 1786 born Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire. He marries Dorothy (unknown surname) in 1811 in Ormesby. They have children from 1813 to 1829.

If this is any help there are a number of Family Trees on An***try which include your Robert Chipchase.

Their information says his parents were William Chipchase and Ann Marschel.

Robert's wife's maiden name is given as Dorothy Lister.

Obviously this is for you to prove for yourself - just a pointer in the right direction can sometime help !
