Elizabeth Ridgway (1857 - 1930)

Elizabeth Ridgway was born in 1857, daughter of Joseph, a Carpenter (info from her marriage certificate).

When she married in 1882 she was working as a Hospital Nurse in Preston, Lancashire.  Later census' post marriage give her born in Manchester.

I have got her and all her children up until she dies in 1930 in London but have lost her pre her marriage.

If anyone can fine her pre marriage I'd be grateful.

There's an Elizth. Ridgway a nurse in 1881 aged 24 born Manchester at the Borough Hospital Conway St Birkenhead. Could that be her?

Both could well be her - she could well have got her birthplace wrong from Manchester

She married George Colebourne on 13 September 1882 at St John the Baptist, Toxteth Park

Elizabeth names her father as Joseph Ridgeway , a carpenter.
George was a telegraph clerk, his  father was John Colebourn, a gardener.
