Looking for birth Zillah TURNER b1816 Tipton

Please help,

I am worn out looking for Zillah! I have just discovered her marriage record to John Whitehouse Dudley 1835. Her maiden name is Turner, but I can't find her birth anywhere.

Any help would be very gratefully received

Because the marriage was in 1835 I have heard that the marriage document wont have the maiden name, that could be wrong though. I will find out, thanks Sami.

I have come across that one Jackie and did wonder, but how do I find out for sure? I live in Cornwall so it's not easy to go to the records office!

You could start a new topic and ask for a look up for the marriage record just in case there is any extra detail - sometimes there is and sometimes there's nothing. It would help if you know which church in Dudley - from familysearch.org marriage record for them from Bishops Transcripts it looks like it was St Thomas' Dudley so that's a start.
