Burials - Dysart & Abbotshall

I have two OPR death records from Scotlands People. I'm not familiar with Scottish records, so I'm hoping some kind person could help me understand them.

Dysart - death February 1849 - William Leith.
Interred from South dyke, 13 yards the foot of grave - 1 yard south of Janet Paton's stone.

Abbotshall - death June 1851 - Janet Leith widow of David Inglis.
Buried in the south grave of James Duncan's property - 5 feet deep N○ 60, N.G.

The Dysart burial would that have taken place in the 'Dysart Cemetery'?.

Abbotshall burial does that mean it was on private property of James Duncan.

Any help would be much appreciated.

this cemetery is just down the hill from the present Dysart Cemetery
and as you can see is in a bad state due to vandals.

Thanks for your reply, and the other information you posted.
Seems graveyard vandals are all over the world.
The cemetery trust (not sure if that's what they are called in Scotland), have made some attempt to preserve the MI's, by placing them along the brick wall.  The cemetery grounds seem to be well kept.

The FFHpre 1855 Death CD - would that be available for purchase.
The reason I ask is because I have some others that are possible buried in the 'Dysart Cemetery' too.

The records may be in the County Buildings Cupar with the Burials Clerk in the Council's Bereavement Services: Tel   01334 659336 or Liz Murphy, Bereavement Services Manager at Kirkcaldy Tel: 08451 55 55 55 + Ext 47 66 81
 
I've just been in touch with the Burials Clerk in Cupar regarding my Great Grandmother and they were most helpful - they got back to me in a couple of day with the name of the cemetery and the plot number.  It's easier for them to look back if you have date & place of death.

various Old headstone inscriptions, from lists in their publications
also check their Records when you are at their site,for these Dysart Cemeteries
