Does anyone know what would be the nearest local primary or council school for a child living in Morpeth Street in the 1920s ?

Thanks ,

It would be the school on Morpeth Street, girls and infants, built in 1893. You can see the school on the old maps at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html?coords=423975,565490

Hi, Stan ,

My mother lived in Morpeth Street as a child in the 1920s so the information was required to fill " another piece in the jigsaw"!

Many thanks ,
