Uniform identification please
« on: Tuesday 19 February 13 15:00 GMT (UK) »
This photo was found by a cousin amongst a relatives belongings.  We wondered what the regiment was so that we could possibly identify the family.  Thanks.

I have tried everywhere to see if it is a ww1 divisional patch above the chevron without any luck, I wonder if it is a trade badge, possibly a stylised spur for a rough rider, any thoughts Ady?
