Clarence Williams

Hi. Does anyone have any info on a Clarence Roy Williams. He was born about 1914 in Merthyr Tydfil and was the son of George Elias Williams and Maria Primrose Strange. Does anyone know of his marriage details and a possible death date as he'd be about 99 now. Thanks. Lyndon.

Clarence Roy Williams born 13 November 1914, but in Freebmd it has Clarence H Williams (Dec Q 1914)

There is a Clarence Williams, age 68 (with birth 13/11/14) in death index 1983 Ealing vol 12 page 0069.

I think the H is a transcription error in the above birth record. Looking at the original image I slightly favour R over H. PM sent due to possibility of living relatives

I know Clarence had brothers Gordon Williams (1918-1969) Dereck born abt 1917, Neil (1926-2002) and a sister Roma (born abt 1920). I visited Roma in Merthyr Tydfil on several occasions, do you have any info on her? Marriage date or death date? Any more info on the others? Help much apprieciated.

Roma Desley Williams, b 26/11/1922 d Oct 2005 in Rhondda district.  Dis no 8641D,Reg 8d, entry 031. She may have married a David HS Williams in Oct-Dec 1949 but entry says Roma Williams or Allen

Hi jrc. You could be right about the marriage to David Williams as i remember Romas' husband having been called David but was unsure of his surname as i knew my aunt as being Roma Williams, which was also her maiden name. I have her brother, Derrick Vincent Williams, as i think it's spelt, being born in 1920 and died in 2004 and another brother, Alfred, being born in 1917, but died a year later. Do you know about any of these facts? Thank You.
