Herbert Kitchener McKay
« on: Saturday 02 March 13 23:05 GMT (UK) »
Hi, Can anyone help me find the relatives of Herbert Kitchener McKay, or Mackay, who was born in Bristol August 1898 to parents William Sherris McKay and Rachel Phillips. Herbert Kitchener MacKay died in South Africa in 1970. I am a descendant of his sister Mary Elizabeth who was born in Newport, Wales in 1889. Mary Elizabeth Godfrey nee Mackay died in South Africa in 1940.
Regards
Janet

Just noting that there was a Herbert Kitchener McKay in electoral rolls for the Mackay region of Queensland  from 1936 to 1980 - possibly a relative?

Thanks for the info in Herbert Kitchener MacKay, I don't think there is a connection but something to look into.
