Looking for birth and parents of Samuel Trippett, born about 1809 Wentworth, married at West Brom. in 1839 to Sarah Burnett, 41 Tipton,51 Wednesbury, 61 High Green,Chapletown with 7 children, 71 Brightside,Sheff. died March 1881 Grimesthorpe, Sarah died March 1897 Grimesthorpe.

Can't find  her in  1881.
Would like to find Samuel's parents,

Whilst I can't see a baptism for Samuel Trippett there is a marriage in 1802 at St Peter, Woolley:

7 June 1802 by Banns
Samuel Trippett of the Chapelry of Barnsley (Bachelor) and Martha Hinchliffe (x) of this Chapelry (Spinster).  Witnesses:  Thomas Birkenshaw and George Field.

There are two baptisms as St Mary, Barnsley for children of Samuel and Martha:
Joseph - 28 November 1802 and Ann - 24 November 1805.

No indication of occupation in any entry.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I looked for other Trippetts on 1841/1851 Census born or living in Wentworth, Yorkshire.

Samuel/Sarah name Children;
Joseph
Samuel
John
Edward
James
Benjamin
Mary
William R

Now 1851 Census has a BENJAMIN Trippett born c 1807 Wentworth, Yorkshire

A Tree has Benjamin Christened;
11 January 1807, Wentworth, Yorkshire to JOSEPH/MARY Nee SELLERS

As Samuel names his 1st Son Joseph and only Daug Mary and a Son Benjamin it might be that Joseph/Mary are Samuels Parents.

Joseph TRIPPITT Married Mary SELLERS, 24 May 1797, Rotherham, Yorkshire (F/S.Org)
Anc has the record and Joseph was of Tankersley

1851 Census has a MARY Trippett c 1776 living in Wentworth with a Joseph c 1821 (Grandson?)

The Samuel (1809 Wentworth) I am after in 1841 was at Tipton,51 Wednesbury then to Chapletown in 61 with family, there may be too many to check on.  But there is a Joseph and a Mary in Samuel's family, along with a John,James,Edward & Richard!!!
