Hi

Sorry, I am not researching this family myself.  :)

Presumably you have 'reached' this family in Inkpen by working backwards from what you know. Where in Wiltshire do you have them and when,

Hi

Just checking backwards  ;)
Do you have the marriage certificate for  William & Phoebe.   :-\

The only William that I can see with parents Richard & Elizabeth is William Oliver Titcomb(e). They are living in Ashton Keynes in 1871
Richard Titcomb 60    Hayden, Wiltshire
Elizabeth    50    Arlington, Gloucestershire
Sarah 19
William Oliver    17
Cornelius    15
Frederick    13
Alice 8
Matilda 6
William Titcomb Brother   62    Haydene
(Children all bn Ashton Keynes)

William Oliver Titcombe seems to have married in June qtr 1886
Hillier    Thomas
Ruddle    Bertha
Sainsbury    Emily
Titcomb    William Oliver
Calne    5a   119

Am I totally off track  :-\

No this is the right family.Do not have marriage cert forPhoebe and William only for my grandparents Ralph and Emily. This family seems to be very elusive. Have done maternal family history with no problems.

I think that you need that marriage certificate for William's fathers name   :)

When your William is living in Stratton St Margaret married to Phoebe Jane in 1901, William Oliver Titcomb born Ashton Keynes c1855 is in Lydiard Tregoze, Wiltshire married to Emily.  :-\

Your William with wife Phoebe/Jane gives places of birth as
1901 - South Marston
1891 - Kingsdown,  Wiltshire
1881 - Kingsdown, Wiltshire
