John Young TURNBULL

The above JYT was born c 1880 - no idea where!  He married in Tasmania to Priscilla BARNES in 1908 and lived in New Zealand until his death in 1970 (aged 90). Haven't found out where he or Priscilla are buried, but in the NZ Archway, it gives his probate as being Wellington, although they lived for the most part in Rotarua - can someone help with either where he may be buried or if he was in fact born in NZ?  They had three kids that I know of (all since deceased); Leslie John b 1911, Phyllis Euphemia born 1913 and Sydney Farnum bc 1915.

John, Priscilla and their son Leslie John are all buried in Mangere Cemetery.

Unfortunately this cemetery isn't online to search.

You may have to get the Marriage and Death Cert of John to establish when/where he was born and Parents names if shown.

Many, many thanks for your replies to my query, and now will be able to trace where the family is buried. The marriage certificate would show his parentage, but at an astronomical cost of obtaining that piece of paper (in Tasmania).....I'm trying to find another road!!.   

Trish, unfortunately that the Canadian John Young Turnbull seems to have been married and died in Canada.  Once again, thanks everyone
